A while back in 2023 my site lapsed and I made some recovery attempts in 2024. It was mostly successful, but some past posts were lost to the sands of time.
Until today.
I’m happy to report after only about 15 minutes and thousands of internet searches, a combination of 3 agents found the missing 10 posts which are now available (again) for your reading pleasure.
I wrote about the blog recovery originally in Recovering-a-blog-for-dummies
It turns out agents were able to parse some unpublished navigation in archive.org which contained at least the text content of the missing 10.
I still need to reconstruct the image galleries which those posts originally held but this should be easy given dates and recovered filenames.
Build more data centers.
